Airmen Return From Iraq
WHO/WHAT: More than 50 Airmen from the New Jersey Air National Guard's 108th Wing return from Iraq and are reunited with the families. The Airmen are from the Wing's Civil Engineer Squadron and were involved in critical construction projects in the Baghdad area during their six-month tour.
WHERE: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Wrightstown.
WHEN: Sunday, July 11 at 9 A.M.

For security purposes, media will need to pre-register with the Public Affairs Office in order to gain entrance to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Contact Public Affairs on Friday, July 9 at (609) 530-7088 or (609) 530-6942 or, on Saturday, July 10, Tech Sgt. Harbison 609-516-5783 no later than 5 p.m. For access to the Joint Base please go the Wrightstown Gate to await escort.
Media will need to be at the base NO LATER THAN 9 a.m. Background: The 108th Civil Engineer Squadron will land at the Joint Base approximately 10:30 a.m. and will be reunited with their families at the Joint Base air passenger terminal. The Airmen and their families will be available for interviews there. |
