Ceremony Honoring Fallen Citizen-Soldiers To Be Held
WHO: Maj. Gen. Glenn K. Rieth, The Adjutant General of New Jersey will hold a ceremony honoring the sacrifice of the four New Jersey Army National Guard Soldiers who were killed in June 2004 supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
WHEN: Saturday, June 5, at 11 a.m.
WHERE: New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, 101 Eggert Crossing Road, Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648
Details: On Saturday, June 5 at 11 a.m., a ceremony will take place at the Global War On Terrorism Memorial located on the grounds of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs on Eggert Crossing Road in Lawrenceville honoring Staff Sgt. Frank Carvill of Carlstadt; Staff Sgt. Umberto Timoteo of Newark; Sgt. Ryan Doltz of Mine Hill; and Spc. Christopher Duffy of Brick. All four Soldiers were members of Battery B, 3rd Battalion, 112th Field Artillery, New Jersey Army National Guard. To mark the fifth anniversary of the unveiling of the Global War On Terrorism Memorial, a New Jersey Red Oak will be dedicated in honor of the four Soldiers. |
